Allison Minick is an actress, singer, and writer.  She received a BA in Dramatic Art from UC Davis and an MFA in Acting from Columbia University, where she studied with Kristin Linklater, Anne Bogart, and Andrei Serban. She has trained in Shakespeare at RADA in London and ACT in San Francisco, in comedy at Upright Citizens Brigade in LA and NYC, and in singing at the Kate Johnson Voice Studio in NYC. She has trained on-camera with Bob Krakower and Ted Sluberski. 


Allison has appeared in numerous films, including the Green Brothers’ Anonymous (dir: Reinaldo Marcus Green), Mark Kirkland’s The Audition, and Lisann Valentin's Europeany. For UpWard Films, she is writer and lead actor in the sketch comedy series We Watched It So You Don’t Have To, From the Bedroom of an Actress, and Unknown Jobs. She is one half of the comedy duo Main Wench with Liba Vaynberg. Their mockumentary pilot Tales of Toverud was a finalist at the Los Angeles Comedy Festival and Screenplay Competition and at the Amsterdam International Film Festival, and their musical parodies have been featured on WhoHaha and Funny or Die.


On stage, she has played Lady Macbeth in Macbeth at Classic Stage Company (dir: Tony Speciale), Cleopatra in Antony and Cleopatra at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (dir: John Adams), originated the role of Lucille in Brief Hours and Weeks at the Frankel Theatre (dir: Tyne Rafaeli), and originated the role of Nan in Celine Song’s Walking on Water at 3LD. Her musical theatre credits include Little Sally in Urinetown and Ado Annie in Oklahoma at the Mondavi Center (dir: Mindy Cooper).  She was the lead in the US premiere of Feydeau's farce Now You See It at North Coast Rep (dir: Bruce Turk), and she originated the lead in the two-person play Being Seen, which received encore performances at the NY International Fringe Festival and was awarded a Fringe Favorite.  

Among her commercial credits, Allison was a principal actor in the Stella Artois national commercial starring Sarah Jessica Parker and Jeff Bridges which aired during the 2019 Super Bowl.
